The temple has beautifully carved rows of elephants. They seem to be holding the temple up on their backs
Here are the dimensions of the Kailasa Temple and its surrounding area. The rear wall of its excavated courtyard is 276 feet (84 m) 154 feet (47 m) and 100 ft (33 m) high. The temple proper is 164 feet (50 m) deep, 109 feet (33 m) wide, and 98 feet (30 m) high.

Sad to see some of the elephants damaged / descecrated. As a whole - looks like a mammoth task to make these sculptures. Nice picture
